Terms and Conditions
Last Updated: June 2026
Welcome to Virgin Bet. These Terms and Conditions (the "Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Virgin Bet Limited ("we", "us", or "our"). By registering an account, accessing our website, or using the official Virgin Bet app, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be fully bound by these rules.
If you do not agree to any part of these Terms, you must not use our online betting services. We strongly recommend that you print or save a copy of these Terms for your future reference.
1. General Information and Licensing
Virgin Bet Limited is a company registered in Gibraltar (Company Number 118228), with its registered office at Office 7.01, 7th Floor World Trade Centre, 6 Bayside Road, Gibraltar, GX11 1AA. We are licensed and regulated by the most stringent authorities to ensure a safe and fair environment for all our customers.
- In Great Britain: We are licensed and regulated by the UK Gambling Commission (Account Number 54310).
- In Gibraltar: We are licensed by the Government of Gibraltar and regulated by the Gibraltar Gambling Commissioner (RGL No. 114 and 115).
The "Virgin" name and Virgin Signature logo are registered trademarks of Virgin Enterprises Limited and are used under an exclusive license.
2. Account Registration and Eligibility
To participate in any sports betting or casino games on our platform, you must first register and open an account. By opening an account, you legally warrant and represent that:
- You are at least 18 years of age (or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction, if higher). Underage gambling is a criminal offence.
- You are physically located in Great Britain or a territory where we explicitly offer our services when placing a bet.
- You are acting as a principal and not on behalf of a third party.
- You are not a self-excluded individual, nor are you registered with GAMSTOP.
- You are not an employee, director, or immediate family member of anyone affiliated with the LiveScore Group or Virgin Bet Limited.
You may only open one (1) account with Virgin Bet. If we discover you have opened multiple accounts, we reserve the right to close all duplicate accounts, void any active bets, and withhold your winnings.
3. Identity Verification (Know Your Customer)
As a highly regulated online betting operator, we are legally required to verify the age, identity, and address of our customers to prevent fraud, underage gambling, and money laundering.
Upon registration, we will perform electronic verification checks using third-party databases (such as Experian or Equifax). If we cannot electronically verify your details, or if you hit certain deposit thresholds, we will request manual documentation. This may include requesting a clear photograph of your valid Passport or Driving Licence, alongside a recent utility bill or bank statement. We reserve the right to suspend your account and withhold any withdrawals until these strict verification checks are satisfactorily completed.
4. Deposits, Withdrawals, and Player Funds
We offer a variety of secure payment methods for you to fund your account, including major debit cards, PayPal, and instant bank transfers. Please note the following financial terms:
- Source of Funds: You must only deposit funds from a payment method (e.g., a bank account or debit card) that is registered in your own name.
- No Credit Cards: In accordance with UK Gambling Commission regulations, we absolutely do not accept deposits made via credit cards.
- Withdrawals: We aim to process all withdrawals as quickly as possible. However, before a withdrawal can be finalized, you must have completed all necessary identity verification checks. Withdrawals must be processed back to the exact same payment method originally used to deposit.
- Protection of Funds: Customer funds are held in separate, distinct bank accounts independent of our corporate operational funds, providing a high level of protection in the unlikely event of insolvency.
5. Placing Bets and Bet Acceptance
When you place a wager on the Virgin Bet app or website, it is your sole responsibility to ensure that the details of your bet are correct before clicking the confirmation button. Once a bet has been confirmed and accepted by our servers, it cannot be cancelled or changed by the customer under any circumstances.
We reserve the right to refuse the whole or part of any bet requested at our absolute discretion. A bet is only deemed valid once you receive a unique Bet Receipt number and it appears in your "My Bets" history. All Virgin Bet odds are subject to fluctuation up to the exact moment your bet is confirmed.
6. Errors and Palpable Mistakes
While we make every effort to ensure total accuracy, human or system errors can occur. If a bet is accepted at a price that is materially different from those available in the general market at the time the bet was struck, or clearly incorrect given the probability of the event occurring (a "Palpable Error"), we reserve the right to void the bet entirely, or settle the bet at the correct odds that should have been available.
7. Fraud, Collusion, and Prohibited Activities
We have a zero-tolerance policy towards fraudulent activity, cheating, or any form of system manipulation. You are strictly prohibited from:
- Using automated bots, artificial intelligence, or specialized software to place bets or scrape data from our platform.
- Colluding with other customers to gain an unfair advantage or manipulate betting markets.
- Exploiting a loophole, glitch, or software bug in the Virgin Bet platform.
- Engaging in arbitrage betting, matched betting, or bonus abuse strategies designed to guarantee a risk-free profit.
If we have reasonable grounds to suspect you are engaging in any prohibited activity, we reserve the right to permanently close your account, void all pending or settled bets, and confiscate any account balances.
8. Safer Gambling and Account Limits
Your wellbeing is our priority. Sports betting should always be an enjoyable leisure activity. We provide a robust suite of Safer Gambling tools within your account settings, including daily, weekly, and monthly Deposit Limits, Session Reminders, Time-Outs (from 24 hours up to 6 weeks), and formal Self-Exclusion.
If you feel your gambling is becoming a problem, we strongly encourage you to utilize these tools and contact external support organizations such as GamCare or BeGambleAware. If you self-exclude from Virgin Bet, we will take all reasonable steps to prevent you from accessing your account or opening new ones, and we will remove you from all marketing databases.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Virgin Bet Limited shall not be held liable for any damages or losses which are deemed or alleged to have arisen out of or in connection with your use of our website or the Virgin Bet app. This includes, without limitation, delays or interruptions in operation or transmission, loss or corruption of data, communication or lines failure, or any person's misuse of the site or its content.
10. Changes to the Terms
We may need to update these Terms from time to time to comply with changes in legislation, regulatory requirements, or our operational processes. If we make material changes, we will notify you via a pop-up upon login or via email before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the platform after such notification will constitute your acceptance of the revised Terms.
